Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Pantry Pal ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Description of Service

Pantry Pal is a mobile application developed by Eplep.ai. Track your fridge, freezer and pantry with smart scanning. Get expiration alerts and recipe suggestions for ingredients you already have. Scan barcodes, receipts or snap a photo, Pantry Pal auto-fills the details. Syncs via iCloud so your entire household can stay on top of things together. Color-coded indicators show freshness at a glance, and you get alerts three days before and on the expiration date. A dedicated Empty Freezer mode helps you use up what you have, with 2-5 recipe ideas based on ingredients that are expiring soon.

Data

Storage

Your data is stored on your device and syncs to your own private iCloud, which we have no access to.

Your Responsibility

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your device
• Backing up your data
• Any activity that occurs through your use of the App

Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels
• Use the App to harass, abuse, or harm others
• Transmit viruses or malicious code
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality

Intellectual Property

Our Rights

Pantry Pal, including its design, features, and content, is owned by Eplep.ai and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

Your Rights

You retain ownership of any content you create within the App. You only grant us the rights needed to provide features that actually process that content.

Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EPLEP.AI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES.

Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway.
