What is MythMaker?

MythMaker transforms your dreams and daily life into personalized narrative "episodes." Record a brief voice note each morning, and the app weaves your dreams together with calendar events, locations, and health data into AI-generated stories in your chosen genre.

How do I record a dream?

Open MythMaker each morning and tap the record button. Speak for 30 seconds to 2 minutes about what you dreamed. The app transcribes your recording and extracts symbols, characters, and emotions automatically. You can also type a dream manually.

What genres are available?

MythMaker offers 5 story genres: Epic Fantasy, Noir Detective, Romantic Comedy, Sci-Fi Adventure, and Mythic Journey. Free users have access to 2 genres. Premium unlocks all 5.

How does Life Context work?

With your permission, MythMaker reads your Apple Calendar events, significant locations, and HealthKit data (sleep, steps, activity). This real-world context is woven into your weekly episodes, making stories that truly reflect your life.

What is Personal Mythology?

Over time, MythMaker tracks recurring symbols from your dreams and connects them with your life events. The Personal Mythology dashboard shows patterns, correlations, and insights you might never have noticed on your own.

Is my data private?

Yes. All audio recordings, transcriptions, calendar data, location data, and health data are processed entirely on your device. Nothing is sent to external servers. See our Privacy Policy for details.

What does Premium include?

Free users get unlimited dream logging, 3 episodes, and 2 genres. Premium unlocks unlimited episodes, all 5 genres, and the full Personal Mythology experience with pattern analysis.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through Apple. Go to Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your iPhone, find MythMaker, and select Cancel Subscription.

How do I restore my purchase?

Open MythMaker, go to Profile → Upgrade to Premium, and tap "Restore Purchases" at the bottom of the paywall screen.

How do I delete my data?

Go to Profile → Data Management to clear dreams, episodes, or symbols individually. You can also use Profile → Delete Account to remove all data and reset the app. Uninstalling the app removes all local data from your device.
