Website pricing 2026: what does it actually cost?

Short answer: NOK 9,500 to 25,000 for a website

We agree the price case by case, so the numbers here are indicative rather than a price list. You get a free draft and a concrete quote before you commit to anything.

Below we go through what sits inside the ranges and what moves a price up or down.

Website: NOK 9,500 to 25,000

This is where almost every business website lands. At the lower end sits a site with 1 to 5 pages: home, about, services and contact. That covers freelancers, tradespeople and small businesses that need to be findable.

At the upper end sits 5 to 15 pages with more content and functionality. A blog, image gallery, customer testimonials or a link to a booking system.

Wherever you land, you get a design that works on mobile, tablet and desktop, a contact form, and a CMS so you can update text and images yourself. You log in, change the text and hit publish.

A redesign costs the same. Rebuilding an existing site is as much work as building a new one. The content already exists, but structure, design and engineering all get done from scratch anyway. That is why we stopped pricing redesigns below new sites.

Online store: NOK 15,000 to 25,000

An online store requires more. Product pages, shopping cart, payment, shipping and order management. The price depends on the number of products and which payment solutions you need.

A store with 10 to 50 products and standard card payment sits at the lower end. Advanced filtering, inventory management and accounting integrations pull toward the upper end. If you need more than that, we agree the scope before setting a price.

What affects the price?

What's included with Eplep.ai?

When you order a website from us, you get everything you need to get started:

No hidden costs. You know what you're paying before you say yes.

What does running the site cost afterwards?

From the day the site goes live you pick a plan. There is no free period first. Basis costs NOK 149 per month and covers hosting, SSL certificate, security updates, the CMS and small text changes.

Synlig costs NOK 399 per month. That gives you everything in Basis, plus fresh content every month, Google Business Profile upkeep, ongoing SEO work and a quarterly report on how the site is doing.

You can also change text and images yourself through the CMS. If you need bigger changes or new pages, we'll arrange that separately.

Big agency vs. Eplep.ai

A big agency typically charges NOK 50,000 to NOK 200,000 for a standard business website. Some charge even more. You're paying for large teams, fancy offices, and lengthy project management.

We deliver the same quality at a fraction of the price. How? We use AI in our workflow. That means we work faster without compromising on quality.

A website that takes a big agency 6 to 8 weeks, we deliver in 1 to 3 weeks. Less time means a lower price for you.

Why can we deliver for less?

We use AI as a tool throughout the entire process. From design to coding to testing. It makes us 2 to 3 times faster than traditional agencies.

But everything is quality-checked by humans. AI does the heavy lifting. We make sure the result is perfect.

Think of it as the difference between digging a trench by hand and using an excavator. The result is the same. The job just goes much faster.
