Where is my data stored?
All your data is stored locally on your device. We do not sync to any cloud service unless explicitly stated. Your data is completely private.
How do I delete my data?
You can delete the app to remove all local data. Some apps also include a "Delete All Data" option in their settings.
I lost my data after reinstalling. Can I recover it?
Since all data is stored locally on your device, uninstalling the app permanently deletes your data. We recommend keeping the app installed to preserve your data.
The app is crashing or not working properly
Try these steps: 1) Make sure you're running the latest version from the App Store. 2) Restart the app. 3) Restart your device. If the issue persists, contact us with details about what happened.
Discover Drops
How do I create a drop?
Open a spot, take a photo, and tap "Drop here". Choose between public (visible to anyone nearby) or private (only you). Optionally add a message (up to 140 characters) and an expiry date.
How do I discover drops?
Open the Discover tab. You'll see drops as a map or list. As you approach a public drop you may receive a notification. Tap a drop to see the photo.
What is a Time Capsule?
A Time Capsule is a drop locked until a future date. The photo appears blurred with a countdown — it unlocks automatically at the chosen time. You can pick 1 week, 1 month, 1 year, or a custom date.
How do I report an inappropriate drop?
Tap the menu icon (three dots) when viewing a drop and select "Report". Choose a category (Spam / Inappropriate / Fake location / Other). Drops reported three or more times are automatically hidden.
How do I block a user?
From a drop's detail view, open the menu and tap "Block creator". You won't see any more drops from this user. Blocking is local only and can be reversed by reinstalling the app.
How many drops can I create on the free tier?
The free tier lets you create 3 public drops in total and have 1 private drop active at a time. Premium removes these limits and unlocks Time Capsule with 1-year unlock.
