• We do not collect your name, email, or contact information unless you contact us directly

How We Use Your Data

• To provide on-device AI analysis using Apple Foundation Models
• To save your decisions, reflections, and conversations locally
• To schedule review reminders via local notifications
• To improve the app functionality

On-Device AI Processing

Pathwise uses Apple Foundation Models for AI features such as decision insights, pattern analysis, and parallel self conversations. All AI processing happens entirely on your device. Your data is never sent to external AI services or cloud servers.

• App Store: For app distribution and in-app purchases
• StoreKit: For subscription management
• Foundation Models: For on-device AI processing (no data leaves your device)

Data Storage

Local Storage

All your data (decisions, reflections, parallel selves, preferences) is stored locally on your device using SwiftData. This data is deleted when you uninstall the app.

No Cloud Sync

Pathwise does not sync data to the cloud. Your decisions and reflections remain on your device only.

Data Retention

• Local data: Retained until you delete the app or clear app data
• AI processing: Performed in real-time on-device, not stored externally
• Analytics: Aggregated, anonymized data may be retained indefinitely

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of your data
• Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate data
• Erasure: Request deletion of your data
• Portability: Request your data in a portable format

Data Deletion

You can delete your data at any time:

• Uninstall: Deleting the app removes all local data
• Export first: Use Profile → Export Data to save a copy before deleting

Children's Privacy

Pathwise is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such data, please contact us immediately.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by updating the "Effective Date" above.
