- Prompts and Ideas: The text prompts you enter and the suggestions generated during your brainstorming sessions
- Favorites: Suggestions you choose to save as favorites (Premium feature)
- Session Data: Your idea trees and iteration history
Automatically Collected Data
- Device type and operating system version
- App usage statistics (anonymized)
- Crash reports and performance data
Data We Do NOT Collect
- We do not collect your name, email, or contact information unless you contact us directly
- We do not track your location
- We do not access your contacts, photos, or other personal files
How We Use Your Data
- To generate AI-powered suggestions based on your prompts
- To save your iteration history and favorites locally
- To provide and improve the app functionality
- To fix bugs and improve performance

Third-Party Services
Anthropic (Claude AI)
Iterator uses Anthropic's Claude API to generate suggestions. When you submit a prompt:
- Your prompt text is sent to Anthropic's servers
- Anthropic processes the request and returns suggestions

Apple Services
- App Store: For app distribution and in-app purchases

Data Storage
Local Storage
All your data (prompts, idea trees, favorites, history) is stored locally on your device. This data is:
- Only accessible by you
- Deleted when you uninstall the app or use "Delete Account"
We do not store your data on our servers.
Data Retention
- Local data: Retained until you delete the app or clear app data
- API requests: Processed in real-time, not stored by us (see Anthropic's policy for their retention)
- Analytics: Aggregated, anonymized data may be retained indefinitely
Your Rights (GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of your data
- Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate data
- Erasure: Request deletion of your data
- Portability: Request your data in a portable format

Data Deletion
You can delete your data at any time:
- In-app: Go to Profile → Delete Account
- Uninstall: Deleting the app removes all local data
Children's Privacy
Iterator is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such data, please contact us immediately.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by updating the "Effective Date" above.
