• We do not collect your name, email, or contact information unless you contact us directly
• We do not access your contacts, photos, or other personal files without permission

• To attach audio clips to physical locations
• To allow discovery of clips when you are nearby

• To provide and improve the app functionality

Data Storage

iCloud Sync

If you enable iCloud sync, your app data is stored in your personal iCloud account. This data is:

• Encrypted by Apple
• Only accessible by you
• Synced across your devices
• Subject to Apple's Privacy Policy

We do not have access to your iCloud data.

Local Storage

If you do not use iCloud sync, all data is stored locally on your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app.

• App Store: For app distribution and in-app purchases

Data Deletion

You can delete your data at any time:

• In-app: Go to Profile → Delete Account
• iCloud: Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Manage Storage → Hearby → Delete Data
• Uninstall: Deleting the app removes all local data

Children's Privacy

Hearby is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such data, please contact us immediately.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by updating the "Effective Date" above.
