By downloading, installing, or using Fading ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
Fading is a contemplative mobile application that asks you one question per day about your life experiences. Your answers form a visual constellation that reveals patterns in what you do and what you've stopped doing.
Fading does not require you to create an account. Your data is stored locally on your device.

Payment is processed through Apple's App Store. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings.

You agree NOT to:
Fading, including its design, features, and content (including the 200 curated questions), is owned by Eplep.ai and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of any content you create within the App (your answers and reflections). By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store and process your content solely to provide the App's functionality.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Fading is a tool for personal reflection. It is not a substitute for professional mental health advice, therapy, or counseling. If you are experiencing mental health difficulties, please consult a qualified professional.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EPLEP.AI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES.
Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Eplep.ai from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or us.
We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify you of significant changes through the App.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with Norwegian law, except where prohibited by law.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Eplep.ai regarding the App.
